My research focus on the development of inorganic iron sulfide, ferrite, noble metal ferrite and magnetic mesoporous nanoparticles for x-ray triggered cancer therapy. The drug loaded nanoparticles not only release their drugs into the cells after X-ray radiation, but also work simultaneously as radio-enhancer by generating reactive oxygen or nitrogen species.
